Many of us have made our careers by selling loans with better rates and fees. We’ve built our reputations by educating clients about the housing market and loan process, developing strong relationships with Realtors in our communities, and being exceptional at facilitating transactions. Yet with the decline in the market, interest rate pressures and ongoing new regulations, the role of loan officer is being marginalized. Customers simply don’t value a mortgage transaction that they can get anywhere.

 

Opes Advisors offers mortgages in a whole new way, and delivers real value – to clients and Realtors alike. We’ve created loan origination software that addresses all of the financial concerns clients have – not just guidelines and ratios for a preapproval. We believe that people can ruin much of what they care about financially if they don’t understand how their mortgage fits into their complete financial picture, including how it impacts their retirement.

Opes Advisors is currently seeking an experienced Branch Sales Manager for our San Mateo office location.

 

Our mortgage offer includes competitively-priced jumbo, conforming, and government loan products in a specialized mortgage banking platform; a local operations team- from underwriting to funding- who understands the nuances of Bay Area markets and provides complete sales support to our Mortgage Advisors. We provide training and development to give you the opportunity to distinguish and differentiate yourself and your business.

Qualifications for a Branch Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of success within the mortgage lending arena and at least two years in a management role leading sales teams; demonstrated successful sales track record in the Bay Area market; proven ability and desire to hire, train, develop and motivate staff to grow branch production; solid experience working with multiple loan types; superior customer service skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment; A BA/BS degree in business, finance or related field is preferred.
