Beth DeGeorge leads the company’s mortgage operations including strategic planning and tactical execution. She is responsible for setting credit and compliance policies, loan origination operating procedures, and managing the staff and activities involved in the underwriting, funding and delivery of our mortgage loans.
Beth joined Opes Advisors in April 2009 and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge having spent more than 30 years in financial services. Prior to joining Opes, she spent many years in line management positions with major banks. In the early 90’s she owned and operated a small mortgage banking company that she successfully sold, after which she joined Opes’ CEO, Susan McHan, as EVP/Operations Manager for Susan’s previous company. For seven years prior to joining Opes, Beth operated a boutique mortgage banking consulting company that focused on long-term projects requiring executive management participation.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Beth is an active member of Rotary and she serves on the board of a local nonprofit agency focused on child welfare.
Beth lives with her husband and cows in Springfield, OR.
