Elan LaLonde leads Opes Advisors marketing, brand management and sales support initiatives. Elan has more than 15 years of experience in financial services and strategic integrated marketing. Most recently, he was Vice President of Marketing for New Leaf Paper, a pioneer in environmental printing and office papers. Prior to that, for 13 years he held senior marketing and product marketing management positions with Charles Schwab and E*TRADE Financial where he led teams in building award-winning websites, developed email education and acquisition programs, and managed marketing sales support. During his tenure at Charles Schwab and E*TRADE he held Series 7 general securities representative and Series 65 investment advisor representative licenses.

Elan lives with his partner in Oakland.
