John Boyles has more than 14 years of mortgage banking experience and leads Opes Advisors’ secondary and capital markets group. John is responsible for product development, pricing, trading and loan delivery activities. He manages all aspects of the company’s counter-party relationships related to its capital markets activities.

Prior to joining Opes Advisors in 2005, John held positions with small and mid-sized mortgage banking platforms, as well as correspondent platform for Aurora Loan Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lehman Brothers.

John was born and raised in Alaska, where he worked in the family commercial fishing business until attending high school and college in Arizona. He is an Eagle Scout and licensed pilot.

John has made the Bay Area his home since 2002. He is the proud father of John “JP” Boyles.
