Mr. Smith is Opes Advisors’ Branch Manager for Marin County. As a Financial Advisor, he works principally with individuals, couples and families in helping them make the best financial decisions to accomplish their financial dreams and ambitions, inclusive of their real estate, mortgages, investments and other assets. Jeff has more than 17 years of experience in real estate and real estate finance. Prior to joining Opes Advisors, he was with First Horizon Home Loans where he was in the top 10% of sales professionals nationwide. Jeff’s wife, Melanie Victor-Smith, works closely with him as an Opes Mortgage Advisor.

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration, with an emphasis in finance, from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a registered Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative, licensed California Real Estate Agent/Mortgage Loan Originator, and a Financial Advisor at Opes.

Jeff was appointed by the Marin County Board of Supervisors to the Strawberry Design Review Board in 2005 and is the current Chairman.

Jeff and his wife, Melanie, live in Mill Valley with their two daughters.
