Mr. Hook utilizes his extensive experience and expertise in the mortgage industry since 1990 as a loan originator to understand his clients’ complete financial picture and help them choose and obtain the best loans for their situation. Steven’s strategy takes into account each client’s overall financial plan with the goal of minimizing taxes and risk. Steven provides additional value to his clients, when needed, by referring them to experts in his network of financial, insurance, accounting, legal and other professionals.

Throughout his career he has worked for nationally recognized banks, held executive-level positions and built a successful mortgage company. Steven earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from The University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA with a focus on Financial Services from Golden Gate University. Steven is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist and long-standing member of the California Association of Mortgage Professionals.

Steven lives between his residences in San Francisco and Lodi, California.
