Charles Schwab is the repository for our clients’ assets and is where clients’ investments are actually held and traded. They do not have any ownership or discretionary management of our clients’ assets nor do they exercise control over what investments are made.
As our chosen custodian, Schwab assists Opes with account servicing and reporting, including the transfer in and valuation of securities for a new account. They act on our Investment Advisors’ trading instructions, execute trades and provide services, tools and research that contribute to our efforts. Schwab also provides Opes access to Institutional Managers with expertise in specific investment areas; and of course privacy and the security of data.
