For more than 15 years Erin has helped individuals, foundations and corporations build and manage strategies designed to help them achieve their specific financial goals. He has worked extensively with individuals’ portfolios, taking into account current income needs, legacy considerations and changes in future income and expense patterns, in addition to helping clients understand the conflicting tradeoffs inherent in many economic decisions. Erin’s depth of experience provides his clients with the context needed to understand and interpret current events, while ensuring they make informed decisions with respect to how their actions today will impact their financial well-being in the future.
Prior to joining Opes, Erin spent 10 years as an Investment Counselor in the European division of Fisher Investments, a global wealth manager based in Woodside, California. At Fisher, Erin worked with high net worth families in the US, Europe and Canada with more than $200 million in assets under management. He helped clients implement and manage customized equity and fixed income portfolios designed around their individual goals and circumstances. Prior to Fisher, Erin worked for a global foreign exchange and settlement company where he managed a group of advisors responsible for designing and implementing foreign currency strategies for mid-size and Fortune 500 companies. Erin graduated from the University of Vermont with honors in economics.
Erin lives with his family in Portola Valley.
